Stephen is a fun loving and open minded therapist. He has worked with children, youth and families of various ages in community mental health and hospital settings over the past 15 years. He has witnessed individuals and families overcome significant obstacles in their lives. He believes that safety in therapy can help people uncover their creativity and solve problems that can sometimes seem insurmountable.
Stephen works with clients who have suffered from anxiety, depression, eating disorders, body image concerns, family stress and conflict.
Stephen has completed a Bachelors of Art in Child and Youth Care and a Masters of Arts in early Childhood Studies.
Stephen is currently employed at Southlake Regional Health Centre as a Family Therapist within inpatient and outpatient programs for adolescents with Eating Disorders.
He is currently completing the Certificate Course in Couples and Family Therapy at the University of Guelph. He is in good standing with the Ontario Association of Counsellors, Consultants, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists (OACCPP).
